USCG Technical Business Consultant II - Washington, DC

Job Description - The Technical Business Consultant II will provide C4ISR subject matter expertise in support of the U.S. Coast Guard’s Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) acquisition program.

- This position a consulting team member or an individual technical consultant on product implementation, enhancement, integration or audit projects.

- Expertise and work efforts are focused on the analysis of the customer's business goals, objectives, needs and the general business environment to solve technical problems.

- Tasks may include:

- Evaluate technical documentation, drawings, and diagrams to ensure new systems are meeting contractual requirements.

- Communicate with CG technical authorities on C4ISR system requirements.

- Support Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) with USCG Headquarters offices, Technical Authorities (TAs), USCG Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Program Acquisition Resource Managers (PARMs).
Planning workload to accomplish required tasking.

- Organizing and reporting information for weekly reports.
Duties may be performed at customer's site.

- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures and rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Required Skills - Requires High School Diploma and 10+ years of technical experience with USCG or DOD shipboard C5ISR systems. - Applicants must successfully complete background investigation and drug screening. - This position requires a Secret Clearance and Common Access Card - This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Serco to staff it only with U.S. Citizens. - Travel may be required - Military Veterans and Spouses encouraged to apply! We support major transformation initiatives to deliver total situational awareness from the command center to the warfighter on the front line. We are focused on the design, systems engineering, project management, procurement, installation, training, testing, and field maintenance of these systems.
