Job Description Plans, oversees and analyzes layout of equipment, office, or production facilit ies. Conducts studies in operations to maximize work flow and spatial utilizati on. Ensures facility efficiency and workplace safety. Familiar with a variety o f the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experien ce and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Required Skills Requires a Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred and 10-12 years • Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to receive • Draft quality assurance policies and procedures • Interpret and implement quality assurance standards • Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards, devise sampling procedures, and directions for recording and reporting quality data • Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems • Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities • Collect and compile statistical quality data • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system • Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions • Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities • Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards • Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers • Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions • Responsible for document management systems • Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
