Field Service Engineer II - Deveselu, ROMANIA

Job Description Install, troubleshoot, and maintain Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) systems including intrusion detection system (IDS), closed-circuit television (CCTV), access control system (ACS), barriers, gates, and radars as needed. Identify, analyze, isolate faults and repair equipment and product failures, order and replace parts as needed. Determine and recommend which products or services best fit the customers' needs. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Ability to read and interpret technical documentation including network diagrams, site specific drawings and ability to red line existing Installation Design Package (IDP) drawings. Installing, configuring and repairing Pelco, Axis and other IP cameras and NVR’s. Perform configuration of various LAN switches, Specific experience Managing and configuring Lenel Server for Access Control. Pelco, Axis, Lenel, Windows OS / Server 2008+, AI Phone, Mag locks.

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on various electronic equipment including Furuno radar, Infrared and Optical sensors and their associated backup power and control equipment.

Provide critical preventive and corrective maintenance, information assurance, asset management, technical systems updates, service call resolution, and configuration management for C5I systems worldwide.

Document and input data into a computer-based spreadsheet. Provide daily status via an online based ticketing system. Provide formal write ups for systems that have been damaged and/or are end of life. Recommend ways forward, providing solutions to the customer.
Required Skills Active DoD Secret security clearance. Ability to successfully pass a drug pre-employment screening. High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years of experience in the field OR Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of related experience. Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills. Experience working with access gates and associated hardware, software, systems and manufacturers including, but not limited to the following: Sentry Interface, CCTV, License Plate Readers, Lenel, Card Readers, Bollards, Barriers, Hydraulics, Access Control Logic, Delta, Nasatka, Autogate, RSSI, Magnetic Auto Control, Innometricks, Commend. Ability to obtain a climbing certification in support of heights to 50’. Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, stoop, kneel. Ability to travel as necessary, up to 90% per year. This position supports a U.S. Government contract whose terms require that applicants possess U.S. Citizenship.

DepartmentSerco’s C5ISR business unit supports all branches of the U.S. military as they look to extend the life of critical legacy weapons systems and sensors, while seamlessly integrating these systems with the latest C5I environments. We support major transformation initiatives to deliver total situational awareness from the command center to the warfighter on the front line. We are focused on the design, systems engineering, project management, procurement, installation, training, testing, and field maintenance of these systems.
