Field Service Engineer II

Job Description Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains products/equipment including alarms, naval munitions, giant voice, cameras, intrusion detection, emergency operation centers, regional dispatch centers, gates, wide area alert, indoor voice, enterprise land mobile radio, dispatch activities, and support for regional and emergency operation centers as needed. Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed. Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Work is performed in/around Corpus Christi, Texas.
Required Skills Requires a bachelor's degree and 4 years experience OR High School diploma and 8 years experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Work is generally performed at client site where working conditions may vary. Travel may be required. Position requires the ability to access confidential/classified areas. Must have a Secret Clearance. Qualified candidate will have experience with access gates and associated hardware, software, systems and manufacturers including, but not limited to: • Sentry Interface • CCTV • License Plate Readers • Lenel • Card Readers • Bollards • Barriers • Hydraulics • Access Control Logic • Delta • Nasatka • Autogate

DepartmentSerco’s C5ISR business unit supports all branches of the U.S. military as they look to extend the life of critical legacy weapons systems and sensors, while seamlessly integrating these systems with the latest C5I environments. We support major transformation initiatives to deliver total situational awareness from the command center to the warfighter on the front line. We are focused on the design, systems engineering, project management, procurement, installation, training, testing, and field maintenance of these systems.
