Job Description Develop and implement internal and external communications. Proactively identify and implement marketing strategies. Based on awareness and understanding of customer’s mission and operations tempo, identify and reach out to potential users and user groups. Analyze customer needs; make appropriate recommendations for message/information development, communication method selection, and timing of messages. Tailor messages by target audience. Research, write, edit, and publish communications products (e.g., print, web, electronic, briefings). Provide direction to graphic designers, briefing developers, photographers, illustrators and other required staff. Prepare material for publication and other media both internally and externally. Manage and monitor production schedules. Develop new communication methods to reach target audiences. Support customer’s senior leaders by writing speeches, talking points, video scripts, briefings, and other communications products (e.g., emails, articles). Proficient with PC computer platforms and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal and customer service skills.

Experience with data gathering and analytical skills. Has basic knowledge of the Intelligence Community, and the Department of Defense. Knowledge of customer desired. Level 3: 7 - 10 years’ experience; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience within related field. Experience with providing strategic communications support or speechwriting. Knowledge of issues facing customer, the Intelligence Community, and the Department of Defense. Knowledge of customer, functions, products and technologies. Must demonstrate strong data gathering and analytical skills. Plans and leads contract sub tasks/projects. Level 4: 11 - 14 years’ experience; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience within related field. Experience with providing strategic communications support, speechwriting or technical writing. Knowledge of issues facing the Intelligence Community, and the Department of Defense. Knowledge of functions, products and technologies. Knowledge of customer desired. Must have strong data gathering and analytical skills. Experience providing executive level support. Leads task team’s efforts. Level 5: 15+ years’ experience; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience within related field. Experience with providing strategic communications support, speechwriting or technical writing. Experience providing executive level support. Knowledge of issues facing the Intelligence Community, and the Department of Defense. Knowledge of functions, products and technologies. Knowledge of customer desired. Must have strong data gathering and analytical skills. Experience providing executive level support. Leads others in executing strategic communications tasks.

Functional AreaProgram Management & Acquisition Support
DepartmentOur services in the Defense business unit support all branches of the U.S. military and the intelligence community. Our teams provide a variety of support services related to the maintenance and life cycle sustainment of US Navy, US Coast Guard and Customs and Border Patrol fielded C5I systems. We are focused on the design, systems engineering, project management, procurement, installation, training, testing, and field maintenance of these systems. We also provide personnel services to military personnel, military families, and civilians working for the military. Our capabilities address a wide range of managed services, as well as the complete military lifecycle which includes recruitment, to active duty through retirement. And for the Intel community we have over 300 cleared professionals who serve a variety of Intelligence Community and Department of Defense customers who stand on the front lines of defense for our nation. The unit employee’s specialists focused on acquisition and program management, systems engineering, cyber security, signals and intelligence analysis, financial management, human capital, and information technology.
