Technical Business Consultant II (4.26 Program/Analyst Support) - Shaw AFB, SC

Job Description Provide expertise, analysis, guidance and advice to senior AFCENT A6 leadership on communication programs and activities.

Provide analysis, integration and management of communications programs supporting theater requirements to include developing project requirements, strategies, and tactics to track progress on complex layered projects.

Assist USAFCENT A6X contract management section in developing support requirements.

Provide management expertise for Engineering and Installation (EI) program requirements.

Provide expertise for analyzing and developing technical solutions to transport voice, data and Intelligence, Reconnaissance Surveillance Information (ISR).

Assist with planning and coordinating new commercialized systems, replacement tactical assets, analyzing functional status reports and coordinating command guidance and requirements. Develop financial planning and budgets to support the new systems.

Provide advice and assistance for briefing key deploying communications staff.

Provide advice and expertise for developing funding strategies, planning and execution of AFCENT A6X budget requirements.

Provide expertise on the Air Force’s acquisitions and procurement process.

Perform daily program management and analyses for life-cycle management.
Required Skills Active Secret clearance. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Science in Business or Business-related discipline and 5 years of experience in Program Management OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years of PMP experience in a relevant area and Program Management Profession (PMP) certification. 5 years of experience with electronic communication technologies and developing commercialization strategies. 5 years of experience in contract administration or management. 5 years of experience in financial management administering budgets across multiple program/projects. 2 years of experience with program management at the numbered AF/Component Command Equivalent Staff level or higher. 1 year of experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to travel as necessary.

DepartmentOur services in the Defense business unit support all branches of the U.S. military and the intelligence community. Our teams provide a variety of support services related to the maintenance and life cycle sustainment of US Navy, US Coast Guard and Customs and Border Patrol fielded C5I systems. We are focused on the design, systems engineering, project management, procurement, installation, training, testing, and field maintenance of these systems. We also provide personnel services to military personnel, military families, and civilians working for the military. Our capabilities address a wide range of managed services, as well as the complete military lifecycle which includes recruitment, to active duty through retirement. And for the Intel community we have over 300 cleared professionals who serve a variety of Intelligence Community and Department of Defense customers who stand on the front lines of defense for our nation. The unit employee’s specialists focused on acquisition and program management, systems engineering, cyber security, signals and intelligence analysis, financial management, human capital, and information technology.
