Principal Systems Administrator - Scott AFB, IL

Job Description - Set up, configure, and supports internal and/or external networks.

- Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations.

- Troubleshoot network performance issues and creates and maintains a disaster recovery plan.

- Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment. Provide technical support and guidance to users.

- Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

- Lead and direct the work of others.

- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

- Serve as an integral member of the DISA GSM-O Contract NMS Team.

- Serve as the lead liaison responsible for the NMS databases that include NCCM-R, INMS, TMS, RMS, and RDB/DM.

- Lead and provide SA support for the adding and removal of users as well as troubleshoot user, NMS, and NOC/OSS system and database problems.

- Create and maintain user accounts for NCCM-R, Remedy, INMS, Visionael, and SQL Server as well as system access privileges, configuration, and control of physical devices/data segments.

- Maintain and perform daily and weekly data backup and recovery of Sun Solaris, Windows 2003/2012, NCCM-R, Visionael, Remedy, SQL, and Oracle databases.

- Coordinate, schedule, and load software releases in support of NCCM-R, Visionael, Remedy, SQL, and Windows.

- Coordinate, schedule, load, and maintain system security patch levels IAW FSO standards.

- Provide daily analysis of OSS CCV identifying inconsistencies in data delivery in support of NCCM-R and INMS.
Required Skills - Active DoD Secret clearance or higher. - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 5 years of related experience. - Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills. - Possess IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, etc.). - Preference given to applicants with in-depth experience with NCCM-R, WWOLS, and DDSF. - Extensive experience with Management Systems (e.g. INMS, GTMS, and/or RMS) is preferred. - Ability to provide 2-weeks of bi-monthly (~6 times per year) of on-call support without additional monetary compensation. - Ability to travel as necessary. - This position supports a U.S. Government contract whose terms require that applicants possess U.S. Citizenship. DepartmentSerco’s C5ISR business unit supports all branches of the U.S. military as they look to extend the life of critical legacy weapons systems and sensors, while seamlessly integrating these systems with the latest C5I environments. We support major transformation initiatives to deliver total situational awareness from the command center to the warfighter on the front line. We are focused on the design, systems engineering, project management, procurement, installation, training, testing, and field maintenance of these systems.
