Applications Systems Analyst III - Millington, TN

Job Description Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's application systems.
Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. May be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections.
Writes manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures. Requires experience in Oracle , Google Windows Toolkit (GWT) & Java (Servlet, JSP, AJAX). Must have a working knowledge of relational databases and client-server concepts. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. T
ypically reports to a project leader or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Required Skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Marketing or a related discipline (graduate degree a plus), and 5 to 7 years experience Data Visualization Developer/Analyst. Demonstrated proficiency with enterprise Data Visualization Software (e.g., Tableau & SAP Lumira) and Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence Suite, IBM Cognos, & Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) in addition to Microsoft Office products and their integration with data visualization and reporting tools. OPNAV N1 experience strongly desired. Individual experience with Navy Community Management, Training, Distribution, or the development of Strength Planning is a Plus. Tableau certified a plus. Also must (REQUIRED) possess intermediate to advance level skills in Microsoft Office to include Excel and/or ACCESS. Will be required to fill out an Excel/Access skills sheet. Must have extensive advanced excel skills. Interview may include a test for building macros from scratch, pivot tables, and etc. Please do not apply if you are missing advanced Excel skills. Requires you to have a clearance or the rating of ‘eligible for Secret’. At this time we will not be able to take anyone without one or higher. Secret Clearance preferred. Position Located Millington, TN (onsite).
