Financial Analyst II

Job Description Conducts financial analysis projects (e.g., capital versus expense, ROI, resource allocations, budget preparation, etc.) and special statistical studies as well as cash flow projections.Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Required Skills Requires a Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years 2 years of experience in finance/accounting with a federal contractor. Experience with program cost/schedule control. Skilled in MS Office Suite of tools, with a focus on Excel Understanding of Costpoint Accounting System. Experience with SAP Business Systems a plus, but not required Understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Cost Accounting Standards Board (CASB) and other applicable government regulations Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills required. Must be organized, self-motivated and able to multitask in a fast paced and dynamic work environment. Some knowledge of the Service Contract Act Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles Must be able to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines, handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced environment Must be a team player, independent, proactive, possess excellent problem solving skills, organizational skills and maintain attention to detail
