Compliance Analyst I

Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and results driven professional to join our Division Operations team. The perfect candidate would be a highly organized, self-starter with excellent attention to detail. In this role, you will report to a Divisional Compliance Lead and will primarily assist in supporting internal audits but your duties will be wide, varied and undefined. This is a headquarters level position; the perfect candidate would be able to work in a highly complex environment where priorities will shift as events unfold. Flexibility is a must.

You will be challenged by a results-driven team. You must exercise judgment, and possess strong problem-solving skills in performing your duties. In addition, you must be a team-player and be willing to support a wide variety of projects at any given time. You will regularly interact with senior executives or attend high level meetings and must demonstrate poise and bearing. You must be circumspect in your conversations. Given the nature of the work, and the visibility associated, this is an excellent opportunity to start a career as you will be under direct observation of senior executives.

We are looking for someone who holds a Bachelor’s degree, with a preference to business or STEM studies. Technology sophistication is a value add.

This is a full-time exempt regular position that will work at our headquarters in Herndon, VA. Responsibilities:
Undefined and as assigned, but includes:
-Support audits, inspections and assist business with addressing and closing audit findings.
-Assist with data-entry and tracking of audit findings and other information into an internal assurance tool or other data systems, as well as assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly reviews.
-Review company policies and procedures and assist with posting.
-Support with communicating new and revised internal company business requirements and assist the business with completing compliance assessments.
-Collaborate with other corporate departments and participate in cross-functional meetings.
-Be welcome to and fully immerse yourself in career learning and development environment.
-Support entire Divisions Operations team with ad hoc tasks.
Required Skills -Bachelor’s degree. Business or STEM major preferred. -0-1 years of experience. Additional years desired. -Proficient Microsoft Excel, Word and PPT skills. SharePoint skills desired. -Must be willing to travel within the continental U.S. and Canada for trip durations of up to two weeks. -Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to rent a vehicle while on travel. -Strong adherence to meeting deadlines with sometimes limited supervision. -Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions from analysis and report on findings. -Strong attention to detail. -Ability to make decisions, use independent judgment, establish priorities and work effectively on multiple initiatives concurrently. -Ability to serve as a valued, collegial team-player. -Self-motivated with a strong work initiative. -Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor. -Strong problem-solving skills with a wide degree of creativity and latitude. -Ability to interact comfortably with senior level employees and Executive Management.
