Job Description Performs a variety of administrative duties in support of employment pre-processing and deployment/PCS rotations; coordinates applicant scheduling by creating, reviewing, correcting, & distribution of sensitive personnel records & effects; creation & dissemination of orders; coordinating travel/moves; handle all aspects of staffing, tracking, researching, planning, scheduling and facilitating pre- and post-PCS orientations and quality control activities; researches records, policy, directives, regulations or other historical documents to verify accuracy of records consistent with qualification and suitability considerations; answers & screens telephone calls; receives & assists visitors; schedules appointments/meetings; resolves complex questions & problems; may field inquiries from high-ranking officials/dignitaries; maintains files; and documents services provided.
Required Skills Requires a HS diploma or equiv. with 4 or more years of experience in the field; should be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, & procedures; relies on experience & judgment to plan and accomplish goals; work is generally performed in a normal office environment where there is minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions; job assignments may require working at a client site where working conditions may vary; works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager; and a wide degree of creativity & latitude is required. This position supports a U.S. Government contract whose terms require Serco staff only with U.S. citizens. Position requires active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
