Job Description The candidate will be responsible for the acquisition of engineering and marine services in support of the NSWCCD-CCD’s mission covering the functional areas of program management and planning, acquisition engineering, in service engineering, and life cycle management.
The candidate will be responsible managing project(s) and related task orders for customer(s) with revenue in excess of $30M.
The candidate will oversee a multi-disciplinary engineering and Alteration Installation Team (AIT) services task orders including managerial, structural, mechanical, electrical, electronic, naval architectural, research and development, logistics, test and evaluation, prototyping, and installation and repair.
The candidate will provide the management necessary for the efficient and effective administration and control of work performed under the task order.
The candidate shall manage tasks to meet cost, schedule, and performance of each Task Instruction (TI).
These tasking’s shall include standard, urgent, complex or other support situations in fulfillment of the customer's needs.
The candidate shall provide program management support services.
The candidate shall provide scheduling, tracking, reviewing, and estimating of projects assigned.
The candidate shall provide support for development of program documentation, and assist with identifying requirements and constraints.
The candidate shall identify requirements, plan for, and resource material, facilities, personnel, and services for assigned projects.
The candidate shall schedule, prioritize and track all projects, and report any discrepancies or conflicts to the designated Government representative for resolution.

Required Skills The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an engineering or managerial field and 10 years of combined general, related, and specialized experience. This combined experience shall include experience working with watercraft and watercraft systems and equipment such as Patrol Craft, Offshore Support Vessels, HSV’s and MkV Special Operations Craft, US Government organizations and five years of specialized experience as a successful manager of a team of skilled professional, technical and support personnel. Functional AreaOperations & Maintenance
DepartmentOur services in the Defense business unit support all branches of the U.S. military and the intelligence community. Our teams provide a variety of support services related to the maintenance and life cycle sustainment of US Navy, US Coast Guard and Customs and Border Patrol fielded C5I systems. We are focused on the design, systems engineering, project management, procurement, installation, training, testing, and field maintenance of these systems. We also provide personnel services to military personnel, military families, and civilians working for the military. Our capabilities address a wide range of managed services, as well as the complete military lifecycle which includes recruitment, to active duty through retirement. And for the Intel community we have over 300 cleared professionals who serve a variety of Intelligence Community and Department of Defense customers who stand on the front lines of defense for our nation.
