Job Description As a CNIC Subject Matter Expert for the San Diego, California area of responsibility, candidate will provide direction on projects from inception through completion and will provide technical and managerial assistance on all aspects of project management to comply with the technical requirements of the contract for the customer. Manage and coordinate technical and administrative staff by assigning, scheduling, prioritizing, coordinating, and facilitating multiple tasks. Evaluates performance of subcontractors and staff in terms of actual and planned task schedules and resource requirements. Reviews work for quality assurance. Composes memoranda, reports, and other documentation highlighting project steps and status for daily and weekly meetings with customer. Attends meetings and makes presentations about project status and work commitments. Ensures training of all staff members and instructs them on customer’s methods, procedures, and standards. Evaluates, develops or implements procedures regarding project documentation and development. Troubleshoots technical problems and takes corrective action. Reviews employee schedules and time cards. Participates in long-range planning, analysis, and program design. Participates in the planning and design of new projects as requested. Other duties as assigned. May require local travel.
Required Skills Requires a Bachelor's degree and 8-10 years Ability to obtain/maintain Secret level clearance. Experience with Navy alarm systems (911, LAMAS/RAMAS) required. Ability to be on call 24x7 if required. Prefer a technical lead with experience in the integration, implementation, sustainment, administration, patching, reporting, and local cyber security implementation for all systems within a Regional Dispatch Center (RDC) in accordance with Navy-wide guidance and specific program-level guidance and implementation directives by systems. Specific systems for support to include the Emergency Control Management System (ECMS) 911 Call Management System, Navy 911 Routing and Management System (RMS), Navy Emergency Response Management System (NERMS), PSNET, and ELMR to include hardware and software troubleshooting and repair, disk imaging of systems, computer patches and updates as directed by the Network Administrator(s) and, monitoring of network system logs and alerts.
